The school is managed by the Board of Management comprising the Managing Director, Mr.Hussain Sadique, who supports the school as a pillar ever since inauguration, The Chairman Mr.Y.I.M.Hameez and Financial Director , Mr.Azeem Ismail. They play a major role in uplifting and maintaining standards of the school.

Alif International Montessori was the brainchild of a number of prominent businessmen from Dharga Town , who felt that there was a need for an English Medium School in the area.
Former Chairman Mr. M.M.Nizam, Late Mr.M.Z.M.Zaheer, Mr.M.S.M. Faslan and Mr. M.R.M.M.Hussain Sadique were some of the efficient Directors who were in the forefront.
The school was modeled by Mrs.Zulfica Marikar like PRE-OSC branch of the Overseas School of Colombo ( oldest and only accredited International School in Sri Lanka ). The first recruited teachers who pioneered were Mrs.Insifa Imran and Mrs.Latheefa Faiz.
Mr.Haniffa ,the Manager of the school at the time did an efficient job. The Montessori started with 50 students and within 3 months the numbers rose to 100. Read More

Although 20 years have lapsed since the inception of the school, It’s heartening to know that a sincere effort has been made at this important juncture, to launch a full fledged website for the benefit of all the stake holders including the management, teachers, students, parents and the well wishers.
I sincerely hope that this website will be very helpful in boosting the image of the school while helping people to know about its vision, mission and its day to day academic and extra curricular activities.
